OVERCONSUMPTION IN FASHION.

OVERCONSUMPTION IN FASHION is a collaborative project commenting on fast fashion and clothing consumption on a global scale. The video features visual media that represent consumption, accompanied by textual elements and research that describe the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
The two elements were intended to visually conflict as a metaphor for fashion media and marketing overshadowing the very real environmental effects of manufacturing, distributing, consuming, and discarding textiles.

Modeling by Augusto Sandoval and Henry Ky.
Video by Margaret Johnson.
